Cashly for n8n
The verified Cashly node for n8n gives you every Cashly action as a block, and the Cashly Trigger starts a workflow the moment an expense, debt, EMI or bill changes. Build alerts, reminders, reports and imports without writing code.
How to set it up
- Add the Cashly node. On n8n Cloud and recent self-hosted versions, open the nodes panel and search for Cashly. On older self-hosted versions, install @corenexis/n8n-nodes-cashly under Settings, Community nodes.
- Create a Cashly key. In Cashly open Settings, Developer, API keys and create a key. Choose Read and write unless the workflow only reads. Prefer OAuth? Create an OAuth app on the same page instead.
- Add the credential in n8n. Create a Cashly API credential and paste the key, or a Cashly OAuth2 API credential with your client ID and secret, then connect.
- Build and activate. Add the Cashly Trigger or any Cashly action, finish the flow, then activate it. The trigger registers its webhook on your Cashly account by itself.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Cashly node official?
Yes. It is published by Corenexis, the maker of Cashly, as @corenexis/n8n-nodes-cashly, and it is listed on n8n.io as a verified integration.
Which Cashly plan do I need?
The node uses the Cashly API, which is part of Pro and Pro Plus. On Always Free every call is refused with 402 upgrade_required.
Does the trigger work on n8n running on my own computer?
The Cashly Trigger needs Cashly to reach your n8n over public HTTPS. For an n8n on your own computer, use a Schedule Trigger with a Cashly Get Many operation instead.
Can an n8n AI agent use Cashly?
Yes. The Cashly node can be used as a tool by n8n AI agents, so an agent can read your totals or add an entry as part of its reasoning.
What happens when I hit a plan limit?
Cashly answers 429 transaction_limit_exceeded or 403 item_limit_reached. Turn on Continue On Fail for workflows that should carry on, and use Profile, Get Usage to see what is left.
Which n8n versions are supported?
The node is built with the n8n node CLI and tested with n8n 1.x and 2.x, on n8n Cloud and self-hosted.
