How it is calculated
Age = whole months completed from the date of birth (a birthday on the 29th, 30th or 31st falls on the last day of shorter months), shown as years and months, plus the days left over.

How is age calculated for someone born on 29 February?
In years without 29 February the birthday is counted on 28 February, so a person born on 29 February 2000 turns 26 on 28 February 2026.
